Volleyball Recap: Chestatee Takes a Loss

Chestatee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the White County Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat back in September.

Chestatee's offense was headlined by Natalie Sykes and Ellie Tolbert, who picked up two kills apiece. Sykes really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with five.

Chestatee's loss dropped their record down to 8-24. As for White County, the win snapped their losing streak at seven matches and leaves them with a 12-22 record.

Chestatee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Lumpkin County on the 7th. As for White County, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Dawson County on the 7th.
