Baseball Recap: Anderson Cubs vs. Central Valley Falcons        
        
		
            
 Anderson was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight  defeat. They lost  15-5 to the Central Valley Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Anderson of the  15-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in March.
  Daimon Pierce was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 On Central Valley's side,  Kanin Harris made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   four  hits. Harris has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive pitching appearances. Harris was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Bradley Blankenship was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.  Drason Recio was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 Anderson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Central Valley, their win was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 11-9.
 While Anderson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
