Softball Game Preview: Gustine Reds vs. Millennium Falcons

Gustine is 0-4 against Millennium since March of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Reds will be taking part in a tournament against the Falcons at 10:00 a.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Gustine saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came up short against Pitman, falling 14-4. The Reds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Millennium was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 11-1 to Ripon. The contest marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Millennium saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lanie Gonzalez, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Millennium has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season. As for Gustine, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.
