Softball Recap: Fort Loramie Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Fort Loramie, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Cedarville Indians on Friday.

Claire Hoying made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Hoying was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Laney Barhorst, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Mya Salisbury was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Fort Loramie was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in nine consecutive matches.
