Basketball Recap: Beallsville Takes a Loss

Beallsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 67-30 defeat at the hands of the Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints.

Brysen Grimes went supernova for Tuscarawas Central Catholic, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 13 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Grimes a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Rothrock, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 14 boards.

Beallsville's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Tuscarawas Central Catholic, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-13 record.

Beallsville has already played their next game, a 63-34 defeat against Bridgeport on the 4th. As for Tuscarawas Central Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 60-57 victory against Fairless on the 4th.
