Basketball Game Preview: St. Frances Academy Panthers vs. Webb Spartans

The St. Frances Academy Panthers will be taking part in a tournament against the Webb Spartans on Friday. St. Frances Academy will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

St. Frances Academy is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since January 24th on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Westminster Academy, sneaking past 38-35. Those 38 points were actually the fewest the Panthers have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Meanwhile, Webb earned a 58-51 win over Ambassador Christian School on Saturday. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked sixth in Tennessee, while the Lions are ranked 142nd in North Carolina) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Webb's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for St. Frances Academy, their win bumped their record up to an identical 10-1.
