Wheat Ridge's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Summit Tigers as they made off with a 47-27 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-14.

Wheat Ridge's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chase Jenkins led the charge by rushing for 110 yards and three scores on only 12 carries. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Osei, who rushed for 124 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Wheat Ridge was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 324 rushing yards. They are 2-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.
