Soccer Game Preview: Floresville vs. Gonzales

The Floresville Tigers/Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Gonzales Apaches at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Floresville is coming into the contest hot, having won their last ten games.

Floresville can't be too worried about heading out to take on Gonzales: they just beat Uvalde at home, who had been dominant on their own pitch up to that point. Floresville walked away with a 3-1 victory over Uvalde on Friday.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Gonzales made sure to put some goals up on the board against Young Men's Leadership Academy on Tuesday. They blew past Young Men's Leadership Academy 6-1. The Apaches might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by three goals or more this season.

Floresville pushed their record up to 15-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those five contests. As for Gonzales, their record now sits at 10-7-4.
