Mid-Buchanan won the last time they faced Wellington-Napoleon and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mid-Buchanan Dragons claimed a resounding 74-34 win over the Wellington-Napoleon Tigers. The Dragons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 26 points or more this season.

Jace Mefferd and Brody Best certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Mefferd posted nine points, while Best put up eight points. What's more, Best also posted a 67% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024.

Mid-Buchanan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.6 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Wellington-Napoleon and nudges their season record down to 8-16.
