Softball Recap: Wylie East Comes Up Short

Wylie East's tournament run continued when they took on Mansfield on Saturday. The Wylie East Raiders fell just short of the Mansfield Tigers by a score of 4-3. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wylie East saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was KP Walters, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Wylie East now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Mansfield, they moved to 4-7 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Coming up, Wylie East will challenge North Garland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wylie East is facing North Garland at the right time seeing as North Garland is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Mansfield, they will square off against Boswell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games Mansfield has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
