Basketball Recap: Bellevue Has No Trouble Against Mendon

Bellevue won the last time they faced Mendon and things went their way on Friday too. The Bellevue Broncos took down the Mendon Hornets 61-43. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Broncos.

When it comes to explaining why Mendon lost, don't look at Ryder Gorham. Despite the final result, he posted 16 points in addition to five assists and four steals. Gorham is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Gorham, who went 6 of 13 en route to 15 points.

Bellevue is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Mendon, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-6.
