For the first time this season, Jones will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Rickover Naval Seadragons at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Jones is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park. The Eagles put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 19-7 win on Tuesday.

Jones let Lucy Paskiewicz and Delaney Trecciu run wild. Paskiewicz went a perfect 5-for-5 with six RBI, four runs, and one triple, while Trecciu scored four runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Amanda Lopez was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
