Baseball Recap: Macomb Takes a Loss

Macomb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Quincy Blue Devils, falling 11-0. That's two games in a row now that the Bombers have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Macomb saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emmett Beck, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base.

Macomb's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Quincy, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Macomb will face off against Illini Bluffs at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bombers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 16 runs per game this season. As for Quincy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Geneseo at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
