Oxford and Holy Cross are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Wolverines will host the Crusaders at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Oxford 3.9, Holy Cross 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Saturday, Oxford came up short against St. Paul Catholic and fell 9-5. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Holy Cross hadn't done well against Naugatuck recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Crusaders put the hurt on the Greyhounds with a sharp 7-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Oxford's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Holy Cross, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.

Oxford skirted past Holy Cross 4-2 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Do the Wolverines have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Crusaders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
