Volleyball Recap: Pershing County Comes Up Short

Pershing County lost against Fernley last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vaqueros.

Pershing County's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Fernley, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Pershing County is taking a road trip to challenge Oasis Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fernley, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Smith Valley on the 22nd.
