Soccer Recap: Rockwall Comes Up Short

Rockwall lost against Tyler Legacy back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rockwall Yellowjackets fell just short of the Tyler Legacy Raiders by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Raiders are ranked third).

Rockwall dropped their record down to 8-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Tyler Legacy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rockwall will venture away from home to take on Royse City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Royse City's last eight games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Tyler Legacy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Rockwall-Heath at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tyler Legacy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season.
