Basketball Recap: Mishawaka Homeschool W Has No Trouble Against Homefires

Mishawaka HomeSchool W saw some tournament action on Friday. They strolled past the Homefires Flames with points to spare, taking the game 57-42.

AZARYAH JONES was a one-man wrecking crew for Mishawaka HomeSchool W as he to rack up 18 points along with six boards and six steals. That's the most steals JONES has posted since back in December of 2024. HUDSON BARTH was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to five assists and five rebounds.

Several Flames players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Colin Chesnut, who on his way to 22 points along with eight boards and three steals. That was a full 52.4% of Homefires' points, marking the tenth time in a row Chesnut has put up more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Davis, who earned 13 points.

Mishawaka HomeSchool W is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-24 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points over those games. Homefires has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Mishawaka HomeSchool W has already played their next contest, a 51-34 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 21st. Homefires does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
