Baseball Game Preview: Wayne Academy Jaguars vs. Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders

For the second straight game, Wayne Academy will face off against Park Place Christian Academy. The Jaguars will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Crusaders at 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Wayne Academy got the win against Park Place Christian Academy by a conclusive 7-1. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

Patten Shirley made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits. Shirley was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.
