Football Recap: Hastings Tigers vs. Beatrice Orangemen
Hastings won against Lincoln Northwest last Friday with 49 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Hastings Tigers claimed a resounding 49-6 win over the Beatrice Orangemen on the road. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Tigers just coasted through the last quarter.
Tucker Synek continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 249 yards and two touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. A healthy portion of that aerial production (93 yards to be exact) went to Keithen Krings.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hastings will square off against McCook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Hastings: 17.8, McCook: 12.6) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Beatrice, they will head out on the road to face off against Waverly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Waverly will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Beatrice surely won't give up without a fight.
