Basketball Recap: Schaumburg Christian Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Schaumburg Christian needed a changed in momentum after dropping eight straight games and they got it from Giada Falco. The Schaumburg Christian Conquerors came out on top against the Hiawatha Hawks by a score of 48-35 on Tuesday thanks in part to Falco, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and ten boards. Falco is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season.

Schaumburg Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Hiawatha, they dropped their record down to 1-24 with the defeat, which was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Schaumburg Christian has already played their next match (against Aurora Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Hiawatha Hawks duke it out with the Rock County Christian Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
