Softball Recap: Madrid Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Madrid duked it out with Earlham on Thursday. The Tigers fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 10-9. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Madrid now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Earlham, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cardinals beat Madrid by a score of 9-0 later that day.
