River Ridge had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cherokee Warriors. The Knights not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 16, 2024 (when they won 3-0).
While River Ridge won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13, 27-25.
Olivia Philpot went supernova, getting 19 digs and four assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024. Gracie Lovelace also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
River Ridge's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Cherokee, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
