Baseball Game Preview: Maple Heights Mustangs vs. Bedford Bearcats

Maple Heights hasn't had much luck against Bedford recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mustangs will be playing at home against the Bearcats at 4:45 p.m. One thing working in Maple Heights' favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.

On Thursday, Maple Heights made easy work of Richmond Heights and carried off a 16-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Marvin Wolfe, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI. He continues to improve, besting his previous run total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kevin Moore, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases and three runs.
