Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southeast). They put the hurt on the South Titans with a sharp 17-5 win on Tuesday. The Golden Buffalo have beaten the Titans the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Titans has come to flipping the script.

Southeast's victory bumped their record up to 4-10-2. As for South, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Southeast and South could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings. The Golden Buffalo will take on West on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (207 vs. 56). Meanwhile, South (ranked 210th) will meet Manhattan (ranked 24th) on Friday.
