Baseball Recap: Leonard Takes a Loss

Leonard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Forest Hill Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lancers of the 4-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Leonard saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shawn Lopez, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Leonard's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Forest Hill, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6.

Leonard will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Santaluces at 6:30 p.m. on April 1st. As for Forest Hill, they will head out to square off against Park Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
