It was a proper cat-fight when Lick-Wilmerding took on Galileo on Friday. The Lick-Wilmerding Tigers walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Galileo Lions. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Lick-Wilmerding's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Baird, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Lick-Wilmerding's record now sits at 2-0. As for Galileo, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Lick-Wilmerding will head out on the road to challenge Burton at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Burton has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.75 runs per game on average), something Lick-Wilmerding will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Galileo, they will host Wallenberg at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give Galileo their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
