Greenfield-Central extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Lawrence North. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 23-3 victory. The win was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on 11 straight.

Greenfield-Central got a massive performance out of Leilani Forshey, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most RBI Forshey has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Savvanna Riall, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and two RBI.

Greenfield-Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .545. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .357 or higher in three consecutive games.

Greenfield-Central's victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Lawrence North, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-16 record.

As of now, neither Greenfield-Central nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
