Soccer Game Preview: Long County vs. South Effingham

South Effingham will be up against a hot Long County squad: the team just extended their winning streak to eight. Long County never let Jeff Davis get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Friday. The score was close at halftime, but Long County pulled away in the second half with two goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, South Effingham made sure to put some goals up on the board against Brunswick on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 5-2 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for South Effingham's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Long County pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for South Effingham, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
