St. Joseph Regional's Sherman Alston recorded the longest rushing play in Big North - United this season in his game against DePaul last week. Alston ran for 76 yards on the play and finished with 159 on the day as his team topped the Spartans.

Don Bosco Prep extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Bergen Catholic, 20-17. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Ironmen.

St. Joseph Regional's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Spencer Aukamp threw for 174 and two touchdowns and Ricky Jeune had 151 yards receiving. Quai Jefferson helped St. Joseph Regional's passing attack out by catching two balls for 19 yards.

Jonathan Germano provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Crusaders fell to Don Bosco Prep. He completed 12 passes for 193 yards and one touchdown and also ran for 44 yards. Germano's favorite target this week was J.J. Kulcsar, who caught three passes for 90 yards.

Bergen Catholic's Germano and Kulcsar have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Germano has thrown for 2015 yards this season, while Kulcsar, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 32 catches for 702 yards. DePaul's Joe Moreno leads the league in rushing yards with 966.

John Mckenna's team's Moreno is a mere 34 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season.

Tony Karcich's team took down the Spartans 48-27 last week, the largest margin of any game. Aukamp ran for 14 yards in the win.
