Basketball Recap: West Monroe Has No Trouble Against Sterlington

West Monroe won the last time they faced Sterlington and things went their way on Thursday too. The West Monroe Rebels were the clear victor by an 81-59 margin over the Sterlington Panthers. The Rebels pushed the score to 62-34 by the end of the third, a deficit the Panthers cut but never quite recovered from.

West Monroe's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-5. As for Sterlington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Monroe won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
