Soccer Game Preview: Pflugerville vs. Hendrickson

Pflugerville is 1-8-1 against Hendrickson since February of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Panthers will host the Hawks at 7:15 p.m. Pflugerville's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Pflugerville's win against Elgin wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers' defense stepped up to hand the Wildcats a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. Pflugerville haven't had any issues with Elgin recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Hendrickson faced off against Georgetown on Tuesday. The Hawks put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. Hendrickson's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Pflugerville's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-0-2 and their overall record up to 4-5-4. As for Hendrickson, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
