Sunray is 10-0 against Sanford-Fritch since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. After both having extra time off, both will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 6:15 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Sunray took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Friday. They skirted past West Texas 37-35. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bobcats as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Sanford-Fritch blew past River Road, posting a 54-25 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 27 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Sanford-Fritch and bumps their season record up to 10-4. As for Sunray, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-14.

Sunray was able to grind out a solid victory over Sanford-Fritch in their previous matchup back in January, winning 60-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sunray since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
