Volleyball Game Preview: Niles West Wolves vs. Maine West Warriors

The Niles West Wolves will head out to challenge the Maine West Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Niles West is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Illinois' top teams: Oak Park-River Forest, who was ranked seventh at the time (Niles West was ranked 23rd). The Wolves fell 2-0 to the Huskies on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Maine West waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0.

Niles West's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Maine West, their victory bumped their record up to 24-4.
