After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Union Star, Guadalupe Centers was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 49-32 victory over Academie Lafayette. That 17 point margin sets a new team best for the Aztecs this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Guadalupe Centers to victory, but perhaps none more so than Christian Gonzalez, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Gonzalez has been hot, having posted ten or more boards the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Luis Popoca, who posted eight points along with six steals and five rebounds.

Guadalupe Centers' win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Academie Lafayette, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

As of now, neither Guadalupe Centers nor Academie Lafayette have any future games scheduled.
