Lompoc is 8-2 against St. Joseph since December of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Lompoc Braves will face off against the St. Joseph Knights at 6:00 p.m.

Last Thursday, Lompoc narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Morro Bay 2-1.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph has been on a difficult stretch since their win on the seventh. They and Atascadero finished up their match with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

St. Joseph's goal came courtesy of Abram Garcia, who's now up to 19 this season.

St. Joseph's draw gives them a new season record of 4-8-2. As for Lompoc, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8-3.

Lompoc beat St. Joseph 4-2 when the teams last played two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lompoc since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
