Volleyball Recap: Fieldcrest Comes Up Short

Fieldcrest was the 2-0 winner over Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley when they last played one another on October 7th, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Fieldcrest's loss dropped their record down to 14-16-2. As for Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-19.

Fieldcrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Fisher on the 25th.
