Baseball Game Preview: White Knoll Timberwolves vs. Gilbert Indians

The White Knoll Timberwolves will venture away from home to take on the Gilbert Indians at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

White Knoll blew Mid-Carolina out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Mid-Carolina got their revenge. The Timberwolves fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Timberwolves have suffered since March 27th.

Meanwhile, Gilbert might've scored the first runs on Monday, but it was Spring Valley who claimed the real prize. The Indians fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 4-3. The Indians' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Gilbert's defeat dropped their record down to 17-3. As for White Knoll, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

White Knoll took their victory against Gilbert in their previous meeting back in March of 2019 by a conclusive 8-2 score. Will the Timberwolves repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
