Basketball Game Recap: Windham RVT Mighty Tigers vs. Windsor Locks Raiders

After a string of five wins, the Windham RVT Mighty Tigers's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They suffered a rough 51-30 loss at the hands of Windsor Locks. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Windham RVT in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

Maeve McGinnis was her usual excellent self, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals for Windsor Locks. Jasmine Hurdle was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven steals.

Windham RVT's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Windsor Locks, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Windham RVT won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Grasso Tech comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last 13 games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Windsor Locks, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Tigers at 6:45 p.m. on February 5th. Sports & Medical Sciences Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
