Tuscola put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They wrapped up 2024 with a 54-38 victory over the Monticello Sages. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 117th, while the Sages are ranked 439th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tuscola's win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. As for Monticello, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-6.
