Soccer Recap: San Domenico Comes Up Short

San Domenico lost against Lick-Wilmerding back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The San Domenico Panthers lost 4-0 to the Lick-Wilmerding Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 709th, while the Tigers are ranked 315th).

San Domenico now has a losing record at 2-3-1. As for Lick-Wilmerding, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Domenico will challenge University at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Lick-Wilmerding, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lick-Wilmerding duke it out with the Marin Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Lick-Wilmerding is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.
