Basketball Recap: Pecos Comes Up Short

Pecos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They were dealt a 68-21 defeat at the hands of the Greenwood Rangers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-26 back in January.

Pecos' loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Greenwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-15 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pecos will head out to face off against Seminole at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Seminole will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Pecos surely won't give up without a fight. As for Greenwood, they will head out on the road to square off against Fort Stockton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
