Basketball Recap: Kwigillingok Extends Winning Streak to Three

Kwigillingok had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They blew past the Eek Cougars 55-34. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 21 points or more this season.

Jasmine Andrew went supernova for Kwigillingok, putting up 25 points. Kennice Anaver was another key player, scoring 13 points.

Eek lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Autumn Agwiak, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Diella White, who earned ten points.

The win got Kwigillingok back to even at 4-4. As for Eek, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

As of now, neither Kwigillingok nor Eek have any future games scheduled.
