Basketball Game Preview: Bainbridge Bearcats vs. Colquitt County Packers + Official Tickets

Bainbridge hasn't had much luck against Colquitt County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bearcats will head out to take on the Packers at 6:00 p.m. Bainbridge's defense has only allowed 27.5 points per game this season, so Colquitt County's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Bainbridge is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Seminole County: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Bearcats blew the Indians out of the water with a 67-17 final score. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-5.

Meanwhile, Colquitt County fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Thomasville on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 52-43 to the Bulldogs. The loss was the Packers' first of the season.

Bainbridge will need to focus on slowing down Nacardia Robinson, one of several Colquitt County players who made an impact when they last played. She dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds. Kyndall Pettis was another key player, putting up eight points and four steals.

The win made it two in a row for Bainbridge and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points over those games. As for Colquitt County, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Bainbridge ended up a good deal behind Colquitt County in their previous matchup back in January, losing 54-37. Can the Bearcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
