Basketball Recap: North Penn Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pennsbury last Saturday, North Penn came back down to earth. The North Penn Knights received a blow on Friday as they fell 53-38 to the Perkiomen Valley Vikings. The Knights have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

North Penn's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Perkiomen Valley, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-5.

North Penn and Methacton will face off at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. One thing working in Methacton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups. As for Perkiomen Valley, they and Wissahickon will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Wissahickon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
