Baseball Recap: Tanner Takes a Loss

Tanner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-2 to the Lexington Golden Bears. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Golden Bears this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-0 defeat on Tuesday.

Tanner's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Lexington, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-17.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tanner will host Woodville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lexington, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Colbert County at 4:30 p.m.
