Mukwonago came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Brookfield Central Lancers. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Brookfield Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Clark Kramer had 11 assists and eight digs.

Mukwonago's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Brookfield Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.

Coming up, Mukwonago will square off against Burlington at 4:00 p.m. on October 6. As for Brookfield Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Oak Creek on the 27th.
