Kyle Diaz turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than seven strikeouts on Friday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. He was dominant the last time he took on Glendale on Tuesday, so they probably should've seen this coming. Diaz also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Lost River is 7-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 1-2 otherwise.

Diaz's strong effort led Lost River over Glendale and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
