Basketball Recap: Groom's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

Groom lost against Booker back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The game between the Groom Tigers and the Booker Kiowas didn't end well, with the Groom Tigers falling 41-23. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Booker's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Julian Barton, who posted 11 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Reydn Rosales, who earned eight points along with seven boards and five assists.

Groom moved to 5-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Booker, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Groom will host Claude at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Booker will take on Goodwell in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
