Football Game Preview: Sunlake Seahawks vs. Bell Creek Academy Panthers

The Sunlake Seahawks are taking a road trip to square off against the Bell Creek Academy Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Sunlake sitting on five straight wins and Bell Creek Academy on four.

Bell Creek Academy's offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Monday: Sunlake hadn't allowed a single point the last four times they've hit the field. Sunlake came out on top against Sickles by a score of 7-0 last Wednesday.

Sunlake didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Skylar Graffam and Sofia Bonilla. Graffam is also on a roll when it comes to defended passes, as she's now defended at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Kennedy Schaer was another major factor on D, making 11 total tackles and defending two passes.

Meanwhile, Bell Creek Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Seffner Christian on Friday, but they still walked away with a 12-7 victory.

Sunlake pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.5 points. As for Bell Creek Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
