Soccer Recap: Sultana Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sultana can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the San Pasqual Golden Eagles on Thursday. Considering the last time the Sultans couldn't score was back in December of 2024, the team can't take the result too hard.

Sultana's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four matches. As for San Pasqual, they pushed their record up to 20-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Sultana does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for San Pasqual, they will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Amat at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bishop Amat will roll in looking for their 23rd straight win, something San Pasqual surely won't give up without a fight.
